This chart is a visual depiction of our modified installation instructions.
Ceiling heights lower than 108” require mounting the wall brackets lower. The lower the wall brackets are mounted, the result will be less depth from the wall and more angled arms.

Bought this for corona season, August 2020. Installation was easy for a two-person job. I remember there is one part of the instruction (a diagram or something) that looks badly scanned, but we were able to decipher it with little issue. As stated many times with other reviews, as well something PRX offers that you can buy to fix this very issue, make sure you are aware of whether your garage floor is NOT level. I ended up sticking a few pieces of cardboard under the shorter leg to balance it out. I used this primarily for benching and squats, and there isn't much to complain about... it performs as well as a commercial gym squat rack, except it is still foldable so that you can park your car. The garage-doorway-edge sticks out more than this rack folded up. You may have to loosen or tighten the joints depending on the changes in weather (temperature, humidity) but that is not unexpected. Basically, if it unfolds too fast (thanks gravity), tighten it. If you struggle with pulling it off the wall to unfold, loosen it. Folding and unfolding is very easy. You pull out the lock-key thing and pull it back and down to unfold it. You push up and forward to fold it up, and put the key back in. The key isn't even necessary. There's no way it will catastrophically unfold on its own if the joints are tightened adequately. The shocks help a ton as well, so you definitely aren't pushing and pulling the entire metal rack on your own. I see people occasionally ask whether there is any space issue with incline/decline bench, and I can say it's perfectly fine. I'm 5'11 / 180cm if that matters. I bench with the hooks covering the "9", incline bench on "14", squat on "15". The pull up bar is nice and grippy too. I don't lift very big numbers, but I can say the rack and hooks can easily hold 315 lbs. For cleaning, I use a wire brush to rub at any spots beginning to show (mainly rust) but this hasn't happened in owning it for three hot and humid months. One very small concern I have is that the bottom of the rack is closed, so I'm thinking a lot of unfortunate garage bugs could get stuck and die in there, making a morbid mass grave in the leg of the rack. I guess worst case we can try to stick a vacuum in there. All in all, get it if the price doesn't scare you away. It's a great compact rack that is easy to set up and stow away.
Wasn’t too hard to install. Overall it was smooth. The initial investment isn’t terrible, but I feel it’s worth it to have the convenience of being able to workout at home when I want, how I want.
The Pro rack has been one of my best purchases for my home. Easy to operate and capable of handling even the roughest re-racking of the bar. The weight plates wall mount allows me to organize my weights perfectly and the double bar holding mount puts away my weight bars snug against the wall.
I'm impressed with the overall design of this product. It's one of the best designs out there for those with space saving needs. The rack goes up and down rather seamlessly. Installation wasn't too bad either. Now my main issue is that most of the uprights and bench came damaged, primarily due to horrible handling and care by FedEx. 4 out of the 8 boxes arrived with holes, tears and were soaking wet. I had huge gashes that removed the black finish in several places. Prx customer service took care of me which is much appreciated. My advice would be to better insulate the parts so they don't get damaged by Fedex. I read other reviews on here that also said the same about their experience so this seems like a reoccurring issue. Thanks again for this great product! Outside of the delivery issues, I fully recommend it for those looking for a home gum with space saving needs.
