The product is very strong and perfect. The one thing that's unfortunate is that the palm of the hand hurts for young children. The surface is rough, so it is being taped and used. Except for one thing, I highly recommend it to children practicing gymnastics. However, it will have to be very robustly installed.
I was looking for a stable pull up bar that I could use with the pulley and add more variety to my workouts. This is perfect! Make sure to have some help when installing, it can be a little tricky to hold up to the wall while putting in the bolts.
This pull-up bar is awesome. I was debating between this one and one from Rogue. It is very sturdy and easy to assemble/mount. The grip on the bar is nice. Very impressed!
I did a ton of research on pull up bars exploring all the options. Only a few are made in America which is a big plus for me. The quality is apparent right from the box. Heavy duty steel with a perfect finish. Its the only bar I could find that has incremental adjustablity so you can dial in how far off the wall you want the bar. Most are either one fixed position or 2 at the most. This is a large heavy duty serious piece of equipment. Make sure you have the space for it. I love the versatility of ceiling or wall mount if my gym space changes in future. This is one of those purchases that you spend the money on upfront and have it the rest of your life. It's rock solid once properly mounted and awesome to hang rings off. I also made custom climbing peg board wall mounts to incorporate as much versatility into the space as possible. I highly recommend this pull up bar.
Got this for Christmas and it’s been great so far. Easy to install, very well built, fits perfectly in our gym. Highly recommended over the competition. There is a lot of grip on the bar so I would recommend gloves or tape. We ordered the Wod and Done tape to try out. We mounted it from the ceiling (9’) with the stringers, and it’s at the perfect height. The only thing I would like to see different is the bolts for the bar. Maybe make them a 1/4” longer so you can use all the washers and get it securely into the nylon.
