I have been using the 4-peg racks for about and year and have been very happy. Just added a 3-peg strip. I like the end caps on the 3-peg version. They keep the plates from catching slightly on the end of each peg and make for a smoother slide onto the peg co pared to be open ends on the 4-peg version. The 3-peg strip comes as 2 pieces. This is different than the 4-peg strips I have, which are one continuous bar. Having to slot together the 2 parts made it slightly more awkward to mount on my wall horizontally since they needed to be leveled separately. Once they are ******* to the wall you don’t notice the difference.
I have a very small portion of a tight 2 car garage to house my gym, my wife gets one of the car sides and has a fairly large SUV, so plate storage, especially as I have had to add to my total plate count, has been tight. I installed 2 of the 3 peg profile weight storage racks on my wall and I couldn't be happier. They are sturdy, well-spaced and take up much less floor space than a traditional plate tree. Functionally they work extremely well, the plates come on and off with ease and in my setup they are elevated about 2 ft off the ground on a concrete lip in my garage, which means no more bending over to grab plates off the floor. I 100% recommend these for garage gyms, and commercial gyms as a great piece of storage equipment!
Looked at many options. This was by far the best for our small basement gym. I use another foldaway rack and plates because we didn’t know about PRX then. Fast shipping and even a personal “Thank you” written on the package. Appreciate that.
Love it , this is just awesome.
