Our Home Gym Hacks series is a bunch of tried and true tips and tricks for you to get the most out of your home gym! This Home Gym Hack is to help those who want to do lat pulldowns, but don't have a pulley system!

Alright, let's do it! Start by draping your mobility band over the pull-up bar. Once you have the two ends of the band hanging down, loop the wooden dowel through them both making sure that the loops are both as close to the center of the dowel as possible. Next, sit or kneel under the pull-up bar (where you feel comfortable) while holding the wooden dowel with your arms extended. Start doing your lat pulldowns. That's all there is to it!

If you have any questions or recommendations please comment and let us know! We would love to help you figure out how to add new movements into your home workouts.

Hi Todd! The pull-up bar shown in this video was a home-made system, but our PRx Wall Mount Pull-up Bar should do the trick! If you email us at sales@prxperformance.com we can give you more info about how to set this up in your space!

How is your “pull-up” bar attached here? I would like to add a pull up bar, but my ceilings were too low to be on my rack.
