Our Story
2013
How it all Began
Bonfires + Beers = Big Ideas. Brian and Hopper became business partners with an idea sparked over a campfire and a couple of beers. Together, they dreamed up a better way to bring strength training home: the wall-mounted folding squat rack.
2016
Shark Tank
The Profile® Squat Rack hit the Shark Tank stage, where Kevin O’Leary saw the potential and made a deal. With Mr. Wonderful on board, PRx was ready for what came next.
PRx earned its first patent for the Profile® Rack and launched the Profile® Flat Folding Bench, taking another big step toward our mission of Fitting Fitness into Life.
2017
Mr. Wonderful
PRx returned to Shark Tank for a catch-up episode, giving viewers a look at how far we’d come since making a deal with Mr. Wonderful. Kevin O’Leary even made the trip to Fargo to see PRx in action—and got the full North Dakota-in-February experience while he was here!
2019
First Building
PRx moved into a building of our very own, complete with our first showroom and a space where customers could finally experience the equipment in person. That same year, PRx landed at #189 on the Inc. 5000 with 2,097.5% growth, making us the fifth-fastest-growing retail company on the list.
2020
COVID
Through the challenges of a global pandemic, PRx kept moving forward. Surging demand and shipping delays put us to the test, but local production helped keep our Profile® folding racks and accessories moving.
Then, one August morning, six inches of water flooded our building. Just 48 hours later, we were shipping from a new facility.
2022
HQ
We found a new place to call home! PRx officially moved into our own HQ, bringing the entire team under one roof and giving us the space to work together, keep innovating, and build what comes next.
2023
Best Selling
PRx officially earned its place as a Shark Tank success story, landing on USA Today’s list of the top 15 best-selling Shark Tank products of all time. Not bad for an idea that started around a campfire!
We also brought a big idea for small spaces to life with the Profile® Folding Full Cage, giving lifters even more ways to Lift Big in Small Spaces.
2024
Innovation
Innovation kept moving forward with new attachments and accessories, including Halo Arms® for standalone racks, the Leg Curl/Leg Extension Attachment for Profile® racks, and more.
We also headed to the second annual HomeGymCon, connecting with the home gym community and continuing to grow alongside the event.
2025
Year of the Functional Trainer
We took home gym versatility to the next level with not one, but two new Functional Trainer systems. With options for both our Build Limitless® and Profile® lines, we gave even more athletes the freedom to bring cable training home without sacrificing space.
