Pull Up Bars

A pull-up bar gives you a simple way to add more upper-body and bodyweight training to your home gym. Pull-ups, chin-ups, hangs, and other movements can challenge your back, arms, shoulders, core, and grip strength without requiring another large piece of equipment or taking up valuable floor space.

Adding a pull-up bar to your squat rack can help you get even more training versatility from the setup you already have. Move from barbell strength training to bodyweight work in the same workout and keep building a home gym that gives you more ways to train without filling your space with more equipment.

Pull-ups and chin-ups might be the obvious place to start, but a pull-up bar can do a lot more. Change your grip to add variety to your upper-body training, use dead hangs to challenge your grip, or add hanging knee raises and leg raises to bring core work into your routine.

Pull-up bars can also be used alongside resistance bands for assisted pull-ups, making it easier to work toward an unassisted rep or add higher-volume sets to your training. As your strength improves, add reps, change your grip, or introduce additional resistance to keep progressing.

Simple equipment. Plenty of ways to make it challenging.

Pull-up training doesn't have to be one-size-fits-all. A traditional pull-up bar may be positioned too high or be difficult to access for younger athletes or athletes with different mobility needs. A lower, more accessible bar position can bring pull-ups, rows, hangs, and other bodyweight movements within reach.

The PRx Savannah Bar was created specifically with adaptive athletes and kids in mind, providing another way to make strength and bodyweight training more accessible. Whether you're building a home gym for the whole family or creating a setup around an athlete's individual needs, choosing equipment that meets them where they are can give everyone more ways to get moving.
