Weighted Pull Ups

This Home Gym Hack describes how to do a weighted pull up without a weight belt. Instead of the weight belt we will use a weight plate and mobility band.

First, thread your mobility band through the hole of the weight plate to make two "straps". Then, put your arms through each part of the mobility band "straps" and put the weight plate on your back like a backpack. You are now ready for the weighted pull up.

Here is a video demonstration.

If you have any questions or recommendations, please comment and let us know! We would love to help you figure out how to add new movements into your home workouts.

Equipment needed:

  • Rack with Pull-Up Bar or Kipping Bar
