Wall Brackets mount to 16" or 24" on center studs. If studs are unevenly spaced, a ledger board is required.

United StatesThe system is awesome. It’s built well. It’s easy to install. My issue with the product is the clearances they give for the system. The height measurement is very important. They do that one correctly. However the width clearance measurement is the issue. They only give the clearance of the rack but it’s missing a critical component of that measurement and that’s the weight bar that you’ll be using with the rack. That bar, which you can buy from their accessory store on the website, is 86.5”. Well that’s more than 30” wider than the clearance of the actual rack. So with that consideration it completely changes the actual “clearance” of the rack system. That may seem like an obvious measurement to some but when you’re looking at these systems and you’re not an expert with weight-lifting systems it can easily be overlooked when planning a space for the rack. I learned this the hard way when I bought my system. Had that key detail been pointed out on any of PRX’s rack system specs I would have realized when sort of space I needed to have in order to use their system. Just FYI for those looking at buying one of these.
