I have been an athlete my whole life from Soccer and Golf, to CrossFit, and even an Ironman triathlon.
My wife and I welcomed our daughter and son in 2016 and 2018. Between a big job, new family, and the lock downs of Covid, fitness took a back seat. This affected my happiness, health, and my relationships with my family and friends. I needed to make a change!

I decided to make my health and fitness a major priority again and began working out doing CrossFit and Weightlifting. We didn't have a gym at home so I was waking up at 4:30 in the morning to catch the 5:00AM CrossFit class. As I approached my 40th birthday (May 2025), I increased the focus on this goal and went all in on my "Fit for Forty" challenge. I started meal tracking and began a structured weight lifting plan. With a new job as CEO of Later, time was limited but my goals were clear. To help in this goal my wife and I agreed to convert our wine cellar into a gym to be able to workout at home and still be present with the family.

We chose PRx because it was the clear choice for our smaller space. The ability to wall-mount all of my equipment and have a highly flexible design makes all the difference. We went all out on the gym with new flooring and fresh paint to make the space come together.

My advice to everyone out there is to prioritize your health and fitness, if not for you, for those you love and that depend on you. You will feel better and it will have a cascading impact on your life in all areas.
