Profile® Folding Full Cage

Our patented wall-mounted folding Profile® Squat Rack changed the home gym game. Today, PRx is continuing to deliver fully functional and innovative space-saving gym equipment with the new Profile® PRO Folding Full Cage! Now you can experience all the same space-saving conveniences of the original Profile Racks, but with the added comfort, and security, that can only come with four posts. Easily transform any garage, home, or small commercial space into a multi-functioning gym while sacrificing just 8" of floor space when not in use.

The Folding Full Cage is designed to work on sloped floors, both parallel with, and perpendicular to the wall. Putting it away is quick and pain free. Simply fold the pull-up bar down and easily tuck both sides of the rack against the wall. The wall brackets are spring assisted which drastically reduces the weight required to lift your rack while moving. The spring assist also helps prevent the uprights from dragging on your floor while being put away or taken out.

As with all Profile® PRO Racks, the Folding Full Cage comes with heavy-duty J-Cups, laser cut numbers, 5/8th" holes, 2" hole spacing on the sides and 1" spacing in the bench area. It's available in 9 custom colors, and is made in the USA.

Best in the game

Went with the full cage! This thing is impressively built. It's hard to understate. Quality is REAL nice on this. This has got to be one of the best examples of a folding cage in the industry. Using it: the folding mechanism works beautifully and feels light. That seems to be the biggest differentiator between this folding cage and the other examples out there. GarageGymReviews has some good youtube vids on that folding mechanism if you want to see it move. As you can see from my picture, I had some unusual mounting requirements (huge window in the way). I ran 2 x 8 x 8 stringers and bolted the cage to that. I'm 6'3" and 240lbs and I can do kipping pullups on this thing and it never moves. Made the choice to go with this instead of the Rogue folding cage entirely due to ease of use. However, once the cage is loaded up with all the stuff I end up storing on it, it's likely I won't be folding it back in anyway lol. Installing on sloped floors: I could see this being tricky for some. They have guides for this or you can call them. My garage floor slopes a total of 3/8" across the expanse of the cage, from right to left. This didn't affect the mounting of the cage, as it was bolted to the stringers via laser level guides. The slope becomes noticeable when the cage is folded out. You can tell the barbell is unlevel when it's on the rack. My fix for this was to just shim underneath the two posts on the left side. Costs $0. Alternatively you could build yourself a platform and get it nice and level for about $300. My entire family (me 41, wife 42, kids 9 & 10) uses it. Thanks for building a great product! I will surely be testing more PRx gear in the future. Wasn't shopping on price... buy once cry once. This cage will outlive me.

Great equipment disappointing support

I have now 3 racks and a lot of other equipment from prx performance and for the most part I can say the materials and service have been exemplary. However, with the last purchase, although I'm using it well now, started with a lot of issues. I had issues with the hinges coming from the factory assembled incorrectly and much of the hardware needed to assemble the cage was missing. I sent an email to the support desk for help yet the response was not very prompt and over the course of several communications back and forth I ultimately got incorrect feedback and ultimately had to figure out myself that I had to disassemble the hinges, invert the footing that mounted to the uprights then reassemble the hinges. I had to go purchase the hardware to secure the uprights and the pull up bar myself and when asked about these issues and further purchases and financing I ultimately was told there was nothing that could be done about it. After years of reliable products and materials I can probably day I won't be buying anything else after this experience. I'm a Neuromuscular Therapist, personal trainer, Sports Nutrition Coach and Physique and Bodybuilding coach. I've set up 3 sites with prx performance equipment. This entire exchange from delivery to now has been extremely disappointing. All of the other equipment is of expected quality and durability. Service is what failed here.
