Commercial Schedule A consult

1. Share the installation instructions before hiring.

Not every contractor has experience installing fitness equipment. We recommend sharing the installation instructions with potential installers before committing so they can review the project and determine whether they're comfortable completing it.

PRx is happy to provide installation instructions upon request or they are available on our website.

2. Ask about their experience.

Have they installed wall-mounted equipment, fitness racks, or similar systems before? Experience with securely mounting equipment to wall studs and following manufacturer specifications is especially important.

A great general contractor may not necessarily be familiar with fitness equipment installation.

3. Inventory your packages before scheduling.

Before booking an installation appointment, open your packages and verify that all components and hardware are accounted for.

While our goal is always to ensure every order arrives complete, taking a few minutes to check everything beforehand can help prevent unnecessary delays or additional installation appointments.

4. Confirm your space is ready.

Double-check ceiling height, available wall space, and installation clearances. For wall-mounted equipment, make sure the installer understands the required mounting locations and can evaluate whether the wall structure is suitable.

Clear the installation area beforehand so your installer has plenty of room to work.

5. Get a clear quote upfront.

We recommend confirming the total installation cost, estimated time required, and what services are included before scheduling.

It's also worth asking whether additional charges may apply if the installation requires extra time, specialized hardware, or a return visit.

6. Make sure the installer follows the instructions.

PRx equipment is designed with specific installation requirements. Even experienced contractors should follow the provided instructions rather than relying on their experience with similar products.

If something seems unclear, we encourage customers or installers to contact our support team before proceeding.

7. Know how to contact PRx Support.

Questions can come up during installation! Make sure your installer knows that our Customer Experience team is available to help clarify instructions or answer product-related questions.

We recommend reaching out before making any modifications or adjustments that aren't covered in the instructions.

8. Keep Your Packaging Until Installation Is Complete.

We recommend holding onto your original packaging until your equipment is fully installed and functioning properly. Keeping your boxes and packaging materials can be helpful if you discover any damaged components, need to reference product information, or need to arrange a return or replacement. Once everything is installed and you've confirmed it's working as expected, you can dispose of the packaging!

9. Test everything before your installer leaves.

Once installation is complete, take a few minutes to check your equipment together.

Verify that the rack is secure, moving components operate as intended, and any cable systems are properly routed and functioning smoothly.

Addressing concerns while your installer is still there can save time and potentially avoid another service appointment.

While PRx Performance does not provide installation services or maintain a list of recommended installers, our Customer Experience team is happy to help you prepare! We can provide installation instructions before your appointment and answer product-related questions along the way. Installation services, scheduling, and associated costs are arranged directly between the customer and their chosen installer.
