“Whip” refers to the flex and rebound of a barbell shaft under load. As the weight moves, the bar bends and then snaps back, which lifters can use to generate momentum in Olympic lifts. The right amount of whip helps with smoother, more explosive lifts, while too little (or too much) can throw off timing and control.

Please allow up to 2-4 weeks for your entire order to ship from our warehouse in Fargo, ND. Do you offer installation services?
We do not have an installation team. In lieu of one of us showing up on your doorstep, we do have some helpful installation videos that you can find here: Instruction Manuals

How tall do my ceilings need to be?
Below are the standard measurements required. Measurements with a pull-up bar include the Pull-Up, Multi-Grip, and Kipping Bar.

Overall a solid barbell! My daily driver barbell is a Uesaka Competition bar which would cost 4x the price (if they were still sold in the US).
In comparison, this bar holds its own against a much higher priced bar. Spin is good without being excessive like many bars on the market seem to be obsessed with. I have used PrX Elite bars for many years and know that this one will hold up as well as it feels an even higher quality. It is actually quieter on drops than my Uesaka bar!
Couple of things that would have made me give it five stars (even if it was more expensive!)
1. I think the knurling would be much better if this was a stainless steel bar. This type of knurling always feels a little too chunky in my hands when it is a chrome or cerakote bar.
2. Tame down that center knurl! I think this is almost as sharp as the first generation Pyrros barbells that Rogue recalled and changed. It is nice to have for some squatting and my first clean session is doubling as a neck shave.
Overall, I am very surprised and pleased that this bar has the features it does at an extremely reasonable price point! If you are a newer lifter and looking for your first barbell, you will love it. Even veteran lifters who are used to fancy equipment will be pleasantly surprised!
