Powder Coat with minor imperfections, but overall, very nice!

After using powder-coated bells from a variety of brands, it seems as though there are few suppliers/manufacturers, and quite a few more companies reselling with their own stamps. These bells from PRx are no exception, however, the bells are of fine quality and are well-balanced. I did not weigh them for accuracy, but I purchased a pair and they feel identical in weight, so they must be accurate, or close enough. :) The powder coat is textured well, with enough grip as not to be slippery, but also not too much sand as to rip your ungloved hands apart. The color-coded bands, which appear to be part of a standard across different suppliers, make identification easy, especially when doing double-bell exercises. My only complaint about these kettlebells from PRx are that they arrived with some minor cosmetic imperfections - one manufacturing defect (chip) on the handle, which is somewhat noticeable when the bell is in your hand, but not bad enough to rust through or cause a problem in grip. The bases of the bells were a bit chewed up when I received them, but that's also not a dealbreaker for a piece of exercise equipment. There should be a video alongside this review with the PRx bells in use in their soon-to-be permanent home, a basement gym that will be outfitted with many of the PRx flagship pieces. I would not hesitate to buy kettlebells from PRx again, and I'm looking forward to the rest of their equipment that I plan to purchase soon

One of the Best KBs Out There

As a Sports Chiropractor I need to have a variety of sizes to work with different populations. I've started out my collection with some cheap ones from Wal-Mart just for doing carries. Since getting more into them I went with Perform Better, which makes a great KB, and own 3 sets. I have one Rep Fitness KB at home and have used Rogue numerous times at the gym. I personally liked PB and Rogue the best. When I found out PRx made KBs I decided to order one, and quality-wise they are right up there with Rogue and PB. Plus, they have great customer support if you have any issues. I know where I'll be ordering the rest of my KBs from now on. Thanks PRx! Shawn Halvorson, DC Owner of Dynamic Sports Chiropractic
