Why do you have a home gym?
- I was tired of going to a crowded gym just to sit there and wait for equipment.
What is your favorite part of having a home gym?
- It only takes 30 seconds to make my pre-workout and get to the gym.
What is your favorite thing in your gym?
- High/Low Pulley – I have always liked the cable machines at the gym, and this gets the same job done!
What would you add next?
- PRx Profile® Incline Folding Bench - This can add new movements to my workout, store on the wall, and give me back a ton of floor space.

Why do you have a home gym?
- I originally started a garage gym because of the COVID gym closures and restrictions. Fast forward four years, and I still work out most days in my garage and attend a CrossFit class 1x/week (so I can stay motivated and connected to the community).
- My reasons have changed over the course of four years as to why I work out at home so much, but it always boils down to convenience. Short on time, no driving, 24-hour access, snowed in from a blizzard, helping with the kids, and my favorite - wearing whatever I want. It’s so nice to skip the worries and just workout.
- That’s easy – my folding rack. My workout space is only 6’ x 12’ so every inch matters. I also like to show it off to visitors 😊I mean c’mon, it’s such a cool and practical concept.
- Spotter arms. I can safely bail on a lift, but I don’t want to worry about hitting my car. I leave it in the garage when I work out because I’m not waking my kids up at 4:30am to pull the car out. Parents, ya feel me?!

Why do you have a home gym?
- There are never enough squat racks at a commercial gym. Seriously, I’ve never seen a gym with enough racks. My home gym allows me to save time and work out without having additional childcare costs…kids are expensive…Something that is really cool is that my entire family trains with me. I wish my dad had a home gym this sweet when I was a kid.
- Even during the busiest weeks, there’s time to get a little bit done. 20 minutes in the gym is better than no minutes in the gym.
- I love my soft plyo. It’s versatile and honest. Training to jump and be explosive keeps things fun for the whole family. Plus, the soft plyo takes away most of the impact and scary shin shenanigans.
- Horizontal Bar Storage – There’s always that next thing on the list, but I can’t add anything until everything I already have is out of the way and off the floor.

Why do you have a home gym?- Convenience.
- The guilt I get out of walking by my home gym and not touching it, I mean convenience.
- Running shoes. They make me feel free and invincible. For actual gym gear? My Flat-Folding Bench. I use it for step ups, tricep dips, bent over rows, and benching.
- Landmine - I have zero upper body strength and don’t like doing lifts above my head. A landmine would help me feel a little safer while doing those explosive upward movements. Plus, maybe adding a landmine would make working out more enticing to our 16-year-old son!

Why do you have a home gym?- The convenience of going into my garage without having to go to a separate location is ideal. Especially having 3 kids, time is valuable to me.
- Being home. Falls in line with the above answer.
- All of the storage. With having all this equipment, having a designated “home” for everything and avoiding the clutter is awesome.
- Landmine attachment. Right now, I have a stand-alone landmine (torsonator), and when it’s not in use it sits on a shelf that takes up space. Also, the setup is a little bit more involved as opposed to the landmine attachment.

Why do you have a home gym?- As quickly as I had my own place in Fargo, I had a home gym. Since being into cars and being into fitness was a big part of my life, I knew that when I got my own space, I’d have my own home gym. I’ve always wanted to have a super clean, modern, car-orientated garage that has a WOW factor, and to me, a gym in the garage is certainly part of that.
- I think it’s just the level of pride I have when I open my garage. It’s different than most garages and it totally works for me. When the weather plays nice here, it’s like a secondary space just to hang out and I love that life. It’s the best when the sun is starting to set and I’m just wrapping up a good workout, the grill is goin’, we have the TV on and we’re just hanging in the garage on a beautiful summer night.
- It’s got to be the folding rack! I’ve always been a sucker for how cool the Kipping Bar looks and I’m proud of the overall gym look in the back of my garage. I use my rack for almost every workout so it’s definitely my favorite part!
- Next I plan to add some simple accessories and storage solutions to round out the gym. I really want two dumbbell storage solutions to clean up our dumbbells and kettlebells. I will also add some accessory storage and weight vest storage for odds & ends. I also use some of my PRx storage solutions to store camping equipment and detailing tools/accessories.
