Justin's Dialed In Home Office
We had an office in our house that was going mostly unused, and as our priorities shifted, we saw an opportunity. Instead of keeping that space closed off, we decided to turn it into a home gym—not in the garage, but right in the house. For us, comfort was key. We wanted a space that felt inviting and functional year-round, no matter the season.
With three kids and two busy adults, our days are full. But having a gym at home meant we could make fitness a part of everyday life again. We love getting in a quick cardio session, a functional workout for Megan and me to feel good and stay moving, or a heavy lift session with our two sons. We can all use the same space, in the same day.
The goal was simple: create a space that made fitness more accessible for our whole family. And it’s worked. We’re more consistent, more connected, and the energy in the room reflects that. We designed the gym to fit our needs, and now it fits seamlessly into our lives.
If you're considering building a home gym, think about what will serve you and your family in the long run. Creating space for health and movement at home isn’t just about convenience. It’s about building a lifestyle that brings you closer together, one workout at a time.
