How tall do my ceilings need to be?
Below are the standard measurements required. Measurements with a pull-up bar include the Pull-Up, Multi-Grip, and Kipping Bar.

I went with the PRX rack because of my lack of space in the garage and wanting to keep the functionality of parking 2 cars. The rack it self is nice, sturdy, well finished. It fits my space perfectly but for me to make it work I had to be fairly precise.
The first issue was that my garage didn't have standard spacing in the exact location where I need the rack installed. So after reading thru the website, I understood that I needed to install stringer boards to fit non-standard stud spacing. The string board recommend was a 2x6, which fits the mounting brackets on the rack, but it doesn't give much wiggle room at all. The other issue is that my garage is slightly sloped to the right. So when I mounted the stringer board, i measured up 21 inches from the ground on the right side, but then 21 inches from the ground on the left side didn't really fit on the stringer board anymore. So if I was to do it all over again, I'd recommend stringer boards of 2x8, or even 2x10 would be a much easier route.
Second issue, is I downloaded the user manual from the website while the package was being delivered, so that I could get a head start in prepping the area and getting the stringer boards installed. The instructions I downloaded on the website for the exact rack 73in 1-inch pin, say for my ceiling I the top hole bracket should be 73 inches off the ground. However, when I read thru the instruction manual that came with the package, it shows that it should be 72 inches off the…

We have been searching high and low for a shorter rack that is foldable or able to be setup without taking too much space and reliable to handle heavy weight. My wife and I absolutely love this rack (along with all the other accessories). Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quick shipment and responsiveness of PRx. The installation of the Profile V1 was very easy. As long as you have a basic knowledge of power tools you will be successful. We were skeptical at first with the stability of a folding rack, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it can handle weight just as well as caged in racks. Absolutely love my new set up and will purchase more PRx equipment in the future!
